J2A: The middle portion of the program (8th & 9th or 9th &10th graders), engages youth with the skills and critical thinking involved in adulthood. The youth travel to NYC to learn to negotiate and explore:
The youth plan and embark on a pilgrimage together at the end of this segment. In 2005 our youth went to Puerto Rico and in 2008 they are planning a mission trip/pilgrimage to Calais, Maine and Nova Scotia.
The Sacrament of Confirmation is offered at the end of this two years.
