Spirituality Retreat Advent2008
On December 6th we held an Advent Retreat.
Gifts of Love - our Advent Retreat's theme -
focused on God's gift of Love to us, his son Jesus. We explored
thoughts about gift-giving during this season, and especially about
gifts given and made with love. Afterwards we worked on hand-made
gifts including woven items, and hand painted jewelry boxes or
handmade Anglican Rosaries.
Finally we wrapped up our time together with a simple lunch of a
wonderful homemade soup and cornbead.
