St. James Food Bank
The Prescott Beach Food Bank is located at 24 Hamlet Ave, Woonsocket in the rear. The Prescott Beach Food Bank is an emergency food pantry open Monday & Wednesday 1:30pm - 2:30pm (except holidays). We are an all-volunteer food pantry which distributes food for three days. We are veteran members of the Rhode Island Community Food Bank and we subscribe to its principles. We’ve been in operation for over 38 years; we distribute food to over 24,000 meals annually.
Donor Alert: We are always in need of bar soap or hearty soup.
Coat of Many Colors
One of several outreach ministries at St. James is THE COAT OF MANY COLORS. Located at 24 Hamlet Street [rear] - the entrance is under the Parish Hall to the left of the ramps - this clothes closet collects articles of clothing and redistributes them at no cost.
The Coat of Many Colors is an all volunteer group and, of course, is always eager to accept new volunteers. It also will be happy to accept your clothing donations.
We are looking for donations of gently used linens - sheets, towels, face cloths, etc, to be donated to local agencies. Please drop you donations in the box in the Atrium. Thank you.
